“Ciudad de Los Muertos “Yes, this is a tribute to the city of Chicago. My intention is not to romanticize the death that occurs a bit too often in my city, yet as a reminder to always be vigilant at the same time embrace the beauty of life and death. In my culture, death is not the end it’s merely the beginning , a transition of energy into the infinite a place in which one day we shall all meet once again. This is for those that we love and cherish not to remember their death, but to recognize mortality, and celebrate their life’s & appreciate life itself.
